About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on iron measurement using quantum technology to advance the STRIKE project
- Perform laboratory and fieldwork contributing to research objectives regarding iron deficiency in female athletes
- Collaborate with the research team to develop rapid and precise detection methods
- Contribute to the preparation of publications, presentations, and research reports
- Develop a professional publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Option to learn specialized quantum technology skills for data collection and analysis
Requirements
- First class honours or a Master's degree (AQF Level 9)
- A degree incorporating a significant research component
- Experience in exercise science, physics, or physical biosciences
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Demonstrated capacity to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in female athlete health and performance
- High-level organizational and time-management skills
