About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct a state-of-the-art review in UML/SysML modeling, temporal analysis, formal verification, and trace exploitation.
- Propose a formal framework to represent software architectures under temporal uncertainties.
- Develop UML/SysML extensions or profiles to explicitly model temporal variability and non-deterministic behaviors.
- Define methods for formalizing temporal requirements based on interpretable patterns.
- Design algorithms for the analysis and verification of functional and temporal properties.
- Utilize execution traces from embedded systems (networks, CPU, inter-ECU interactions) to validate models against real-world data.
- Implement Artificial Intelligence techniques to learn, anticipate, and detect plausible temporal behaviors.
- Develop prototype decision-support tools for software architecture.
Requirements
- Master's degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of system or software modeling (UML, SysML, MBSE).
- Strong programming and algorithmic skills.
- Understanding of embedded systems or distributed software architectures.
- Proficiency in English for international collaboration and scientific publications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of formal analysis or Artificial Intelligence.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment bridging industry and academic research.
