About the role

Responsibilities

  • Investigate the enhancement of electrochemical reactions using electric or magnetic fields to advance green production technology
  • Gain proficiency in advanced materials characterisation, reactor engineering, and electrochemical technologies
  • Design and carry out well-considered research work as part of an Australian Research Council-funded project
  • Contribute to the development of electric/electromagnetic field-enhanced packed-bed electrochemical reactors

Requirements

  • First-class or second-class division A honours degree, or a Master's degree with a significant research component
  • Demonstrated passion for self-motivated research in materials chemistry, electrochemical engineering, or energy storage
  • Proven ability to design and execute research projects
  • English language proficiency meeting university standards (e.g., IELTS 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent)
