Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies and wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and perform data entry to maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining pharmacy compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties related to the pharmacy department

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of California
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, CA, Monday through Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)
• Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry
• Bilingual in Spanish
