Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data into the computer to maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining pharmacy compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties related to the pharmacy department

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Connecticut
• Ability to work onsite in Middletown, CT, Monday through Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry
