Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive assistance to the Pharmacist to enable optimal pharmaceutical services
• Assist patients, customers, and residents in an economical and professional manner
• Perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuing basis
• Respond quickly to emergency requests and set priorities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• No history of drug addiction or misuse
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy
• Mathematical proficiency including fractions and decimals for dosage calculations
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and flexible schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Current PTCB certification
• Board of Pharmacy certification
• Previous experience in the healthcare field
• Computer literacy
