Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in the dispensary and perform operational duties under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Perform dispensary administrative duties using computer systems
• Manage stock control procedures, including dispensary orders and stock management
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients and health professionals
• Assist with the provision of home delivery services and filling orders
• Support the pharmacist in encouraging patient compliance and preparing staged supplies
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional pharmacy environment
• Manage merchandising, including product displays and promotional stock presentation
• Handle non-dispensary stock by receiving, storing, and unpacking orders

Requirements

• Proven experience in stock control and dispensary management
• Competency in customer communication and providing high-quality service
• Strong knowledge of OTC medicines (S2 & S3 qualifications preferred)
• Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately within a pharmacy setting
• Understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements in a pharmacy environment
