Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, count, label, package, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Support prescription intake, medication records, and patient counseling workflows
• Maintain proper medication storage, security, cold chain controls, and inventory levels
• Manage controlled substance accountability and monthly usage monitoring
• Keep the pharmacy workspace safe, clean, organized, and compliant with regulations
• Participate in mass-casualty drills and support on-call coverage as required

Requirements

• 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• Current and unrestricted license or authorizing document from country of residence
• Completion of a formal pharmacy technician training program
• Ability to obtain American Heart Association BLS certification
• Ability to obtain a base security clearance
• Ability to relocate to Qatar for an unaccompanied assignment
• Valid passport from Country of Record
• Ability to work in an international site-based healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems
• Experience with medication inventory management
• Experience with cold chain pharmaceuticals
• Experience with controlled substance accountability
