Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies and wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and maintain accurate inventory records in the computer system
• Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining pharmacy compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties related to the pharmacy department
• Communicate effectively using professional verbal and written skills

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Connecticut
• Valid US driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work onsite in New London, CT, Monday through Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
