Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Act as a mentor and guide to the pharmacy team, providing coaching and training to support staff.
• Ensure medication accuracy and regulatory compliance with Federal and State laws, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Manage day-to-day pharmacy workflows, including pick-up, drop-off, drive-thru, and production stations.
• Resolve complex medication or insurance-related concerns through collaboration with medical staff and insurance companies.
• Assist the Pharmacist with administrative tasks, such as daily/weekly reports and pharmacy scheduling.
• Support inventory management and provide mentoring to the Inventory Specialist.
• Engage with customers to provide compassionate care and educate them on CVS services and products.

Requirements

• PTCB National Certification.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Strong mathematical reasoning skills for tasks such as calculating prescription supplies.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and verbal/written interaction.
• Proven problem-resolution abilities to identify and address issues proactively.
• Ability to maintain high levels of attention and focus in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a CVS Pharmacy Technician.
• Previous experience in an Inventory Specialist role.
• Ability to work 30 hours or more per week.
