Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill patient prescriptions and manage pharmacy workstations in a fast-paced environment
• Deliver compassionate care and provide service that exceeds customer expectations
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards, ensuring full compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state registration and licensing requirements

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction
• Customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and verbal/written interaction
• Mathematical reasoning skills for tasks such as calculating prescription supplies
• Problem resolution skills to identify and address complex situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Prior experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
