Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational excellence and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist patients and customers at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone with empathy and care
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety
• Perform basic inventory activities including medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns-to-stock
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including controlled substance recordkeeping
• Support immunization services and patient education where permitted by law and certification

Requirements

• Compliance with all state board of pharmacy laws, including age, education, and licensure/certification requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in a high school equivalency program)
• Ability to perform mathematical reasoning for tasks such as determining dosage or days' supply
• Ability to stand and remain upright for extended periods
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and colleagues
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Flexibility to work across different locations in the market to meet business needs
