Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately fill patient prescriptions and manage pharmacy workstations
• Deliver compassionate care and service that exceeds customer expectations
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards, including patient confidentiality
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
• Complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state registration and licensing requirements

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Strong attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction
• Customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Mathematical reasoning for tasks such as calculating prescription supplies
• Problem resolution skills to identify and address complex situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Prior experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent
