About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with training and supervision of pharmacy technician staff
- Provide technical guidance and evaluate documentation accuracy and performance
- Prepare dispensing and inventory reports
- Investigate medication discrepancies and support corrective actions
- Support prior authorization, prescription processing, billing, and medication procurement
- Assist with quality assurance projects in the pharmacy unit
Requirements
- Valid NYSED license as a Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Experience supporting pharmacy operations
- Knowledge of prescription processing and billing workflows
- Ability to manage inventory and reporting tasks
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
