About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, fill, and organize medication dispensing via automated machines
  • Maintain high quality assurance standards for medication dispensing and patient ExactPacks
  • Support inventory activities, including stocking received pharmacy inventory
  • Organize medication shelves and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation
  • Monitor station queues and meet daily pharmacy goals to ensure timely patient delivery
  • Communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues using superior written and verbal skills

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods
  • Commitment to obtaining pharmacy certification within one year if no prior experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
  • Registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
