Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound pharmacy customer calls and make outbound calls to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers
• Resolve customer issues including billing inquiries and insurance denials
• Establish and maintain accurate patient profiles, including medication lists, insurance, and provider information
• Process orders using Enterprise Rx and gather necessary demographics for prior authorizations
• Assist pharmacists with maintaining inventory, stocking the pharmacy, and preparing/dispensing medications

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Resident State Pharmacy Technician License
• 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to handle high-volume inbound calls via an automated phone system

• Spanish speaking skills
