Pharmacy Support Associate

Responsibilities

• Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules
• Retrieve and process Unit of Use and Bulk items
• Read computer screens to locate medication and verify size and strength
• Replenish medication in automated cells and open large quantities of product
• Use handheld scanners to scan barcodes for replenishment
• Process orders for shipping, including packing paperwork and attaching labels
• Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy floor
• Adhere to HIPAA laws and pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs and consistently carry 20–30 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8+ hours per day
• Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, grasp, and pinch
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Visual acuity to read computer screens, handheld scanners, and labels
• Availability for a 4-day work week, including mandatory shifts on Sundays and Fridays (2pm-10:30pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pharmacy operations and professional standards
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
