Pharmacy Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with Qatar's healthcare regulations
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance pharmacy services and patient satisfaction
• Lead inventory management including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management
• Manage and mentor pharmacy staff to foster professional development
• Analyze pharmacy performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements
• Optimize workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the pharmacy department
• Implement and oversee medication safety practices and protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required
• Valid pharmacist license in Qatar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations
• At least 3 years in a management role
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Advanced degree in Pharmacy Administration or Healthcare Management
• Arabic language skills
• Experience with quality assurance programs in pharmacy settings
