Pharmacy Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment including sit-down counterbalance, deep reach truck, order selector, turret truck, and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform pharmacy-related warehouse functions such as receiving, counting, sorting, and verifying item numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
• Conduct Quality Assurance checks on automated pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
• Manage stock movement, including inbound unloading, put away, cycle counting, and outbound loading of trailers and LTL.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with sanitation standard operating procedures and HIPAA guidelines.
• Coordinate with inventory leadership for proper product placement and assist with the training of new employees.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and shipping software such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and move for prolonged periods in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 60 pounds.
• Experience with material handling equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing repetitious tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in various environments, including refrigerated and freezer spaces.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
