Pharmacy Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations including prescription interpretation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing
• Oversee inventory management and procurement in alignment with 340B program requirements
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including DEA and FQHC requirements
• Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacists
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication therapy management and clinical services
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective alternatives
• Conduct audits and lead quality improvement initiatives to monitor medication errors
• Review pharmacy sales, inventory, and expense data to manage financial performance

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active Pharmacist License in good standing with the state Board of Pharmacy
• Valid BLS certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software
• 3–5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a supervisory position
• Comprehensive understanding of FQHC-relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
• Familiarity with the 340B Drug Pricing Program
• Current immunization certification
