About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the pharmacy in compliance with legal and regulatory parameters
  • Build and lead a high-quality, service-oriented pharmacy team
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Implement record systems and processes for the operating unit
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting body standards, and corporate policies
  • Oversee pharmacy patient services and implement clinical management programs
  • Manage pharmacy personnel allocation and staff scheduling
  • Develop and implement short-range and long-range operational goals

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Tennessee
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology developments and FDA health regulations
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Pioneer software systems
  • Experience with EPIC software systems
