About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the pharmacy in compliance with legal and regulatory parameters
- Build and lead a high-quality, service-oriented pharmacy team
- Direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Implement record systems and processes for the operating unit
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting body standards, and corporate policies
- Oversee pharmacy patient services and implement clinical management programs
- Manage pharmacy personnel allocation and staff scheduling
- Develop and implement short-range and long-range operational goals
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Tennessee
- 5+ years of pharmacy experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology developments and FDA health regulations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pioneer software systems
- Experience with EPIC software systems
