About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical resource and partner to health center providers, offering drug therapy consultation and medication education
- Counsel patients on medications, adherence, and chronic disease management
- Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations including workflow, inventory, and patient safety
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA
- Hire, onboard, and manage pharmacy staff including technicians
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with health center clients
Requirements
- Licensed pharmacist (PharmD or BS Pharmacy) with current Texas License
- Ability to manage pharmacy operations independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of pharmacist experience
- 3+ years in a pharmacy management or leadership role
- Experience in retail, community, or health center pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with 340B programs
- Immunization certification
