Pharmacy Manager - HIV Specialty

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the HIV specialty pharmacy, including dispensing prescription medications and managing staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consumers and clinic partners to ensure exceptional service and clinical outcomes.
• Counsel and educate patients on medication usage, adverse effects, and adherence schedules.
• Manage pharmacy financial profitability and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Coach, develop, and motivate pharmacy staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, pharmacy policies, and clinical standards.
• Perform wellness services, including immunizations and other preventive care.
• Conduct workforce and business planning to maintain operational excellence at the site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist's license in the state of Nevada.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Must have or be willing to obtain AAHIVP certification within 6 months of starting.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmacy leadership experience.
