Pharmacy Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, prepare, and dispense investigational products according to protocol and regulatory requirements
• Use IWRS/IRT systems to log shipments, assign IP, and perform returns or destructions
• Maintain accurate inventory logs, temperature records, and expiration tracking
• Perform aseptic preparations following sterile technique protocols
• Manage IP accountability documentation, including blinded and unblinded logs
• Maintain audit-ready records of all pharmacy activities and equipment calibrations
• Adhere to ALCOA-C principles in all documentation practices
• Assist with protocol-specific assessments such as vital signs and specimen collection
• Perform data entry in eCRFs and support query resolution

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant
• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant program
• Relevant state or provincial registration/licensing
• Current certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or willingness to train
• Experience with IWRS/IRT systems and inventory control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data capture systems
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with investigational product handling
• Familiarity with Phase I–IV clinical trials
• Experience in a clinical research or hospital setting
