About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications accurately using manual methods and robotic dispensing systems
- Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies
- Process administrative tasks including insurance claims and patient record management
- Support high-volume central fill operations with precision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Collaborate with Pharmacists and Registered Pharmacy Technicians to deliver patient service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Understanding of provincial pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Assistant program
- Experience with pharmacy software and computer systems
- Familiarity with robotic dispensing systems and central fill operations
