Pharmacology Senior Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute and interpret in vivo experiments with high reliability and scientific rigor
• Perform in vivo pharmacology studies primarily in rodent models
• Conduct rodent surgical procedures, specifically kidney surgeries such as renal pelvis injection
• Apply knowledge of kidney anatomy to support study planning, surgical execution, and tissue collection
• Perform core in vivo procedures including animal handling, dosing via multiple routes, and fluid sample collection
• Conduct perfusion, necropsy, tissue dissection, and tissue processing
• Contribute to experimental planning and prioritize studies based on project impact
• Prepare clear protocols, surgical procedures, and written study reports
• Present study results effectively at internal meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological science
• 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, or 0–2 years of experience with a Master's degree
• Proven experience in in vivo pharmacology and rodent studies
• Technical proficiency in rodent surgical procedures, particularly kidney-related surgeries
• Strong understanding of kidney anatomy
• Hands-on experience with animal handling, dosing administration, and tissue dissection

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large animal in vivo surgical procedures
• Proficiency in basic statistical analyses for data interpretation
