About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and interpret in vivo experiments with high reliability and scientific rigor
- Perform in vivo pharmacology studies primarily in rodent models
- Conduct rodent surgical procedures, specifically kidney surgeries such as renal pelvis injection
- Apply knowledge of kidney anatomy to support study planning, surgical execution, and tissue collection
- Perform core in vivo procedures including animal handling, dosing via multiple routes, and fluid sample collection
- Conduct perfusion, necropsy, tissue dissection, and tissue processing
- Contribute to experimental planning and prioritize studies based on project impact
- Prepare clear protocols, surgical procedures, and written study reports
- Present study results effectively at internal meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological science
- 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's, or 0–2 years of experience with a Master's degree
- Proven experience in in vivo pharmacology and rodent studies
- Technical proficiency in rodent surgical procedures, particularly kidney-related surgeries
- Strong understanding of kidney anatomy
- Hands-on experience with animal handling, dosing administration, and tissue dissection
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large animal in vivo surgical procedures
- Proficiency in basic statistical analyses for data interpretation
