About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and execute preclinical PK, immunoassay, and cell assays to support pharmacology research.
- Develop and validate PK/PD assays, immunoassays, custom multiplexes, and primary cell/explant assays.
- Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to project teams and senior leadership.
- Author and review bioanalytical reports for regulatory filings.
- Collaborate across functions to support programs from early discovery through candidate selection.
- Use scientific judgment to adapt standardized workflows and protocols for novel cell and gene therapies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of industry experience, Master’s degree with 5 years, or PhD with 3 years of industry experience.
- Proven technical proficiency in PK/PD, ligand binding assays, and primary cell/tissue culture.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and immune cell assays.
- Proficiency in data analysis software including GraphPad Prism, Spotfire, and FlowJo.
- Experience operating automated assay systems (e.g., Hamilton, Integra).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VENUS lab automation software.
- Expertise in developing assays specifically for cell and gene therapies (CGT).
- Strong understanding of the drug development process and IND-enabling phases.
