About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and interpret in vivo experiments to evaluate compound effects on disease biology
  • Lead flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting workflows for ex vivo samples from rodent and large animal studies
  • Perform sample preparation, staining, acquisition, panel optimization, and gating analysis
  • Conduct in vivo procedures including animal handling, dosing via multiple routes, perfusion, and tissue dissection
  • Perform analytical assays such as ELISA on serum and urine samples
  • Prepare clear protocols, study plans, and reports, and present findings to internal teams
  • Independently troubleshoot experimental challenges and refine protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree
  • Strong technical expertise in flow cytometry and cell sorting
  • Hands-on experience with in vivo pharmacology techniques (animal handling, dosing, perfusion, etc.)
  • Experience performing ELISA assays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in muscular dystrophy and/or cystic kidney disease
  • Experience with complex dataset interpretation and statistical analysis
