Pharmacist - PM Inpatient, Medical/Radiation Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services for medical and radiation oncology patients, including cross-coverage for palliative and short-stay units
• Optimize patient outcomes through direct collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support the drug distribution system, including centralized dispensary support for evenings and weekends
• Perform CIVA shifts in the inpatient cleanroom and provide on-call coverage
• Participate in patient education, teaching students and residents, and providing education to nursing and medical staff
• Contribute to research endeavors and support standard-of-care and clinical trials

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Certificate of competency from the Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada
• Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy residency
• Clinical experience in patient-centered oncology care
• Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists
