Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Provide patient medication counseling and education
• Manage pharmacy staff and technicians, addressing knowledge gaps through training
• Oversee pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow
• Collaborate with clinic providers and clinical staff as part of the patient care team
• Attend clinical meetings and provide drug-related education
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, fraud/waste/abuse regulations, and federal, state, and local laws

Requirements

• Active pharmacist license
• Pharmacy operations and personnel management experience
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards
• Understanding of HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse compliance
• Strong patient communication and team leadership skills
