Responsibilities
- Provide patient medication counseling and education
- Manage and train pharmacy staff and technicians
- Oversee pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory management, and workflow
- Maintain current HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse credentials
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and facility policies
- Collaborate with clinic providers and staff, deliver drug-related education, and attend clinical meetings
Requirements
- Active pharmacist license in Maryland
- Pharmacy operations and personnel management experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory requirements
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
