About the role
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal and professional standards
- Offer medication counseling to patients regarding treatments, side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage tailored medication treatment plans
- Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust prescriptions in conjunction with medical staff
- Conduct training sessions for staff and patients regarding medication safety and wellness
- Maintain pharmacy inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
- Stay informed about new developments in medications and pharmacy practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in Saudi Arabia preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
