Responsibilities
- Accurately process and dispense prescription medications, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
- Offer medication counseling to patients regarding treatments, side effects, and interactions
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to manage medication treatment plans
- Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust prescriptions in conjunction with medical staff
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff and patients regarding medication safety
- Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels
- Stay informed about new developments in medications and pharmacy practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in Saudi Arabia preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
