Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and dispense prescription medications, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards
• Offer medication counseling to patients, addressing their questions and concerns regarding treatments, side effects, and interactions
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to create and manage medication treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust prescriptions as necessary in conjunction with medical staff
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff and patients regarding medication safety and wellness
• Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
• Stay informed about new developments in medications and pharmacy practice to continually enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in Saudi Arabia preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to continuous education and staying current in the pharmacy field
