Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medications ensuring correct dosage and patient safety
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions
• Offer medication therapy management for diabetes, hypertension, and chronic conditions
• Ensure full compliance with DHA and UAE federal pharmacy laws and guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and pharmacy documentation
• Oversee medicine storage and cold chain management
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dieticians on multidisciplinary treatment plans
• Manage pharmacy stock, procurement, and inventory control
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants
• Follow hospital infection control programs to ensure safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Valid DHA Pharmacist License
• Minimum 2–3 years of pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and chronic disease management
• Excellent English communication and patient counseling skills
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and basic IT applications
