Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Provide chemotherapy and all medication needs to patients at the Breast and Imaging Center and Kimmel.
• Review protocols and fulfill all pharmacy needs for the BAIC and Kimmel sites.
• Prepare chemotherapy agents and investigational medications.
• Manage chemotherapy order verification, order entry, mixing, checking, and daily workflow.
• Assist in implementing new pharmacy technology and projects.
• Support the training and education of new pharmacy staff on technologies, drug information, and Omnicell usage.

Requirements

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Valid New York Pharmacy license.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a changing environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve operational or patient issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience with chemotherapy mixing.
• Experience with Omnicell systems.
• Retail pharmacy experience.
