About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support for strategic quality and operational initiatives for the 503B outsourcing facility
- Perform QA oversight of production, including batch production record reviews and investigations into deviations
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge, assuming state pharmacist licensure responsibility
- Manage Adverse Drug Event (ADE) reporting, investigation, and trending
- Assist with regulatory communications, drafting responses, and participating in inspections or audits
- Provide clinical expertise on matters impacting product safety
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm)
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing in required states
- Minimum 5–7 years of pharmacy experience, including GMP and regulatory/compliance responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of sterile compounding, ADE management, and controlled substance regulations
- Experience participating in regulatory inspections, audits, or compliance investigations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for regulatory correspondence
- Familiarity with DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and accrediting organizations
