Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to medical patients
• Serve as the onsite medical authority for dosage, education, and counseling
• Perform prospective drug utilization reviews to assess therapy appropriateness, allergies, and interactions
• Assess patient certification to monitor restrictions and recommend treatment courses
• Drive retail sales and patient retention
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state laws
• Provide accurate medication information to patients in-person and via phone
• Stay updated on current research related to cannabis and marijuana
• Assist with dispensary tasks including inventory control, deliveries, and online orders

Requirements

• Registered and licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the state of operations
• 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
• Ability to understand cannabinoids and their interactions with the human body
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology systems
• Working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain state cannabis industry badging
