Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve patient health through safe medication dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices
• Oversee pharmacy operations and act as a proxy for the Pharmacy Manager during designated shifts
• Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment by following established workflow procedures and safety guardrails
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations and support pharmacy technicians in their immunization training
• Manage pharmacy inventory with a focus on protecting cold chain products
• Partner with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Support clinical care services, including testing and prescribing services where permissible

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of Texas
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties list
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
