Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions
• Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues by collaborating with healthcare providers
• Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and medication-related questions
• Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets

Requirements

• Valid New York pharmacist license in good standing
• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience (retail pharmacy experience preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills
• Availability for either a set overnight schedule or a rotating daytime schedule (four 10-hour shifts)
