Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Manage the transfer of new and existing prescriptions between pharmacies
• Use multiple computer systems to enter prescriptions and communicate with patients
• Translate prescriptions provided via phone and enter information into patient profiles in accordance with state regulations
• Verify the accuracy of prescriptions to ensure they meet all legal, regulatory, and quality standards
• Master internal systems to manage pharmacy operations, including communications with physicians and insurers

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing and inventory management
• Valid Pharmacist License in the State of New York or New Jersey
• Must reside in New York or New Jersey
• Ability to work overnight shifts (including Sundays and Monday through Wednesday)
• Ability to work in person at our pharmacy location in New York, NY
