Pharmacist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support pharmaceutical services including receiving prescriptions, compounding, and preparing medicines
• Distribute medicines in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services to meet patient needs
• Perform data entry, calculate doses, mix, package, and label medications
• Double-check prescriptions and invoices against prepared medications to ensure accuracy
• Provide information to patients regarding medication usage, storage, and effects
• Manage inventory by checking, storing, and recording goods received and leaving the unit
• Conduct periodic checks of medicines and medical devices to ensure inventory suitability
• Prepare operational reports including stock, price, and narcotic/psychotropic drug reports
• Monitor storage conditions such as refrigerator temperature, room temperature, and humidity
• Handle patient and medical staff complaints to ensure service satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum Vocational High School Graduate from Pharmacy or Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the same field
• Proficiency in pharmacy technology, automated dispensing systems, and electronic health records
• High attention to detail for accurate medication preparation and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain inventory efficiently
