Pharmacist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support pharmaceutical services including receiving prescriptions, compounding, and preparing medicines
• Distribute medicines in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services
• Handle complaints from patients, doctors, and nurses to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage monthly reports for inpatient units, including stock, expired drugs, and narcotic/psychotropic reports
• Monitor procurement, use, and maintenance of medicines and general equipment
• Provide drug information services and education to staff regarding new or expiring medicines
• Monitor refrigerator and room temperature/humidity to optimize drug storage
• Implement quality and safety procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Associate Degree from Pharmacist
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the same field
• Proficiency in pharmacy technology, automated dispensing systems, and electronic health records
• High attention to detail for medication preparation and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
