Pharmacist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support pharmaceutical services including receiving prescriptions, compounding, and preparing medicines
• Distribute medicines in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services
• Perform data entry, manage prescription timers, and confirm drug types/alternatives
• Calculate doses, mix, package, and label medications according to standards
• Double-check prescriptions against invoices and prepared medications before delivery
• Hand over medication to medical staff with appropriate usage and storage instructions
• Manage inventory by checking, storing, and recording goods from the pharmacy warehouse
• Conduct periodic checks of medicines and medical devices for inventory suitability
• Maintain completeness of daily recipes and process manual drug request forms
• Collect operational data and prepare reports for superiors
• Implement quality and safety procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Minimum Vocational High School Graduate from Pharmacy
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in the same field
• Proficiency in pharmacy technology, automated dispensing systems, and electronic health records
• High attention to detail for medication preparation and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain inventory efficiently
