Pharmacist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy services including prescription screening, dispensing, and distribution for outpatient and inpatient units
• Prepare and compound medications based on pharmacist instructions and prescriptions
• Serve patients at the pharmacy counter, including data entry and providing drug information
• Perform double-check procedures to ensure accuracy between prescription, medication, and patient data
• Provide education to patients and families regarding dosage, usage, storage, and side effects
• Monitor and manage drug stock, including receiving, storing, and recording inventory
• Conduct routine checks on medicines and medical supplies
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of prescriptions and pharmacy records
• Support insurance/guarantee prescription processes
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff

Requirements

• Diploma (D3) in Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration Certificate (STRTTK)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy services (fresh graduates welcome)
• Good understanding of pharmacy service procedures and medication handling
• Ability to operate pharmacy or hospital information systems
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
