Pharmaceutical Technical Sales Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and specialized expertise to support complex pharmaceutical and biotech sales opportunities
• Partner with Account Managers to shape deal strategies and strengthen win probability through technical differentiation
• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations, technical presentations, and scientific consultations to customer stakeholders
• Design and optimize customer workflows to improve efficiency and performance using integrated solutions
• Lead technical validation efforts, including evaluations, pilot programs, and proof-of-concept initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Service, and Strategic Account teams to align technical solutions with customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
• Strong scientific foundation with the ability to engage in high-level technical customer discussions
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel nationally as required to support customer engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in a relevant scientific discipline
• Previous experience in technical sales, applications, or laboratory-based scientific roles
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotechnology customers
• Expertise in analytical workflows, instrumentation, or related laboratory technologies
