About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build disease awareness with key partners and validate understanding of treatment initiation processes
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on prior authorization, payor restrictions, and reimbursement to support patient access
  • Manage the sales budget and grow territory sales through impactful planning and engaging communications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practitioners, and opinion leaders
  • Implement compliant and medically relevant programs to drive customer satisfaction and sales
  • Execute territory action plans, track account metrics, and present progress reports
  • Prospect the market for new accounts and identify growth opportunities
  • Coordinate trainings, informative programs, and product presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Ability to manage a large territory within Sacramento, CA
  • Valid driving license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales account management
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically eye care pharmaceuticals or medical devices
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and organizational abilities
  • High-energy, self-starter mindset with a collaborative approach
