About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build disease awareness with key partners and validate understanding of treatment initiation processes and patient identification.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on prior authorization, payor restrictions, and reimbursement to support patient access.
  • Manage the sales budget and grow territory sales through impactful territory plans and engaging communications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, practitioners, and opinion leaders within the Nashville, TN territory.
  • Implement compliant, medically relevant programs to drive customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Conduct meetings, events, congresses, and training sessions to promote products.
  • Prospect the market for new accounts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Track account metrics and communicate monthly/quarterly progress against sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to manage a remote, field-based territory in Nashville, TN.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sales account management within the healthcare industry (specifically eye care pharmaceutical or medical device fields).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and organizational abilities.
  • High-energy, self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Valid Driving license (category B).
