Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing supervisors to compliantly meet the production schedule in controlled environments
• Partner with peers in other manufacturing buildings and on other shifts to ensure the site schedule is maintained
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop staff while providing timely performance feedback
• Develop, deploy, and manage processes to consistently run and improve the business
• Partner with quality and technical services leaders to author, review, or approve investigations
• Approve SOPs, validations, and protocols in a timely manner
• Support client projects and client audits
• Ensure organization's budget is met and maintain expenses within the plan
• Manage a culture of safety and adhere to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs
• Act as a lean leader by engaging with team members where the work is done

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Knowledge of GMPs and worldwide regulatory agency guidelines
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in parenteral manufacturing
• Lean Manufacturing experience (e.g., value stream mapping, kaizen events)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software (JDE, BPLM, MAXIMO, Trackwise, etc.)
• Ability to gown qualify for Grade A/B areas
• Ability to stand for extended periods and wear respirators if required
