Pharmaceutical Business Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans to penetrate new markets in the pharmaceutical sector
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand trends and competition
• Negotiate and close deals with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and distributors
• Manage and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
• Monitor and report on market dynamics and business performance
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development
• Proven track record of closing business deals in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory affairs
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning
• Experience with CRM software
• Willingness to relocate to Qatar
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
